Tenerife entertainment gets back on it's feet

Evening shows here in Tenerife have struggled to open due to the spacing difficulties involved with covid, so I was happy to see that the comedy drag show Music Hall Tavern were due to make an announcement last Friday, only to find out that for the moment, they will be touring in the UK instead. If you want the chance to see the 'girls' again you can find the booking information at www.mhtuk.com. We wish them well and look forward to their return when hopefully the show can start again.

But it won't be at Vivo anymore. As I was writing, I received a visit with some information on a new series of shows to be launched on 1st September under the name of 'VIVO Showbar'. There will be a different show theme every night of the week and the price will include a three course meal but no drinks. The Sunday night show 'The Whack Pack' (Rat Pack) will feature a live band and is the more expensive show of the week.

In general more bars and restaurants are opening as the weeks go by. We are pleased to see in our particular area at Playa Las Vistas that Soul Suite and Princess Di's have opened their doors again and The Bull's Head is hopefully opening in September. Karaoke is still banned although it has been rumoured that some bars are allowing this.

Not an evening show but something that's happening until the 24th August, courtesy of mother nature is the annual sightings of the Perseid Meteor Shower. Anybody booking 'Teide Under The Stars' up until this date, will have a great chance to view this from Teide where there is less light pollution.
